It is a lot easier. Of course you would use a ship or even the official Air Koyo flight from KL instead of a van... The hijacking and stealthily flying it to North Korea are so complex it's beyond ridiculous. There are so many more det

It would be much easier to get a person on the ground instead of hijacking a large aircraft and then magically landing it somewhere without being noticed.

It would be much much easier to get to any of the passengers while they were still on the ground. Hijacking the aircraft and stealthily landing it somewhere is such a complex plan that it's just too ridiculous.

Flying the aircraft isn't the only problem in such a complicated plan. So even if the pilot was exceptional it would still require many other highly skilled people. And there would be huge risks at every step. It would be thousands of

I think it's highly unrealistic. The plan simply involves too many risks. First of all how could the potential hijackers know that the Malaysian military wasn't properly monitoring the radar? There would have been a huge risk of t

The central part of magit is `magit-status'. You do most of the things from there. It even allows you to stage small parts of a diff (like git add -i) simply by selecting the part in the status view and staging it.

Emacs supports it for many different vcs' http://elpa.gnu.org/packages/diff-hl.html And magit is the best git integration I've seen so far: http://magit.github.io/

A presentation from the developers about vogl and ToGL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45O7WTc6k2Y The part about vogl starts at around 33 minutes and a demo at 40 minutes.

-pedantic-errors is also a very useful flag. -Wstrict-aliasing=1/-Wsuggest-attribute= can give good suggestions during development. Probably not useful for Ag: But I do a lot of numeric stuff so -Wfloat-equal is handy for me. For code

And it's my decision not to use it. Why would I want a non-free (as in beer and speech) editor which reports data to Google, only works on Mac, and lacks any unique features? I don't understand the hype created on HN about it...

I know people here usually complain about minor release announcements. But > This release is notable for its performance improvements: we don't often see a 10x speed-up in a tool like grep. So I think it's quite noteworthy.

The problem is that W3schools contents sucks as well. E.g., MDN is much better in comparison. http://www.w3fools.com/

So you'd rather give up on the open web and turn it into a proprietary system? Just for a seamless experience? Sorry to say this. But that's just plain stupid. The web is not proprietary, not an app, and only to some extend contro

And that's fine. If they want DRM they should write a proprietary app or plugin. But we shouldn't turn the web into a proprietary app controlled by Microsoft, Google, and Apple.

Flash and Silverlight are dying anyway. So it's up to the movie industry and not up to us to bend over. And you know at least Flash was separated from the browser and ported to several systems. DRM in HTML5 will mean that Google, Apple
