Although I don't really appreciates the tone here, I think that point that you are trying to make is that, if we are just going to use plugin, just use plugin all the way; why bother with Javascript for crypto at all.

I am not sure how well LPGL works for iOS, since you need to compile it as single executable without dynamic linking to 3rd party libraries, hence need to provide the source. Can we have LGPL with exception for iOS?
