Just FYI, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, and Edubuntu are not really forks -- they're official 'flavours' of Ubuntu supported by Canonical. (As are Ubuntu Netbook Edition, Ubuntu Studio, and Ubuntu Server.) Linux Mint is probably closer to a fork of Ub
