Who says that has to be the use case of Twitter? HN is not very useful for interacting with friends, but it seems to do fine.

Facebook is pretty hard to use, though. I started using it late and it was tough. You just don't notice the complexity of FB because you are used to it by now. Also, I am not convinced Twitter has to be liked by everybody. No product h

Maybe you could argue that the likelihood of having to put up or maintain a web site at some point in your life is ever increasing. Throw a birthday party for your kid? Make a web site... So general coding skills could be more on the level

Depends on what metric you choose. If your metric is "likelihood to study a technical subject and get a high paying job in the tech industry", maybe. That's pretty meaningless, though, and narrow - there are lots of other way

You make a model, then you make predictions. If they fail, your model was wrong. You can do that in evolution theory, even though you are mostly looking at history. Maybe you predict that all birds should have tails at least 30''

No, we are talking about career women here, so they are more likely to have children later in life. I don't think the typical female CEO candidate had her first child at 18 years old. If you had your first child age 35 (I think the off
