I see your point, but shared hosting is not a reliable solution. It fails pretty often (for a very short time) because it’s shared. You need a CDN. There are a lot of cheap options. A few missed orders can cost you more.

The IP itself can be a very valuable information if you target famous people, politicians, criminals and so on. Such people usually know, that clicking on random links is not safe.

You can rewrite GitHub history and keep one commit. I was doing it for GitHub pages, because I didn't want to expose my blog edits.

If very few people visit a side-project, that's probably bad for Google search. Its crawler will be detecting slow response times and Google can penalize you in search results.

They are pretty good for their price. The factory is still producing some models that were first designed in the 1970-1980s.

IIRC, it took me 4-7 hours to load 600GB of uncompressed data to the PostgreSQL after disabling WAL and tunning some config variables. I didn't have time to test all possible speed improvements. After import, it takes 3-6 hours additio

I was trying to join two 300M lines CSV files using SQLite and Postgres and it took days to merge them on c4.xlarge. Later, I tried Miller and it took less than 4-6 hours. It also takes some time to tune Postgres to make it faster for this

Yeah, but sometimes it's pretty hard to avoid simple loops in numpy code. This is where these tools can drastically speed up your code. In order to achieve good performance, all numpy code should be vectorized.
