I've thought about this before as a physical item. Like maybe a breadbox size ePaper screen that looks like a tiny bookcase with a API back to Goodreads or something to get the book spine images. You could also have a section that disp

This story strikes me as pretty funny. As if he might say "damn, I was hoping you knew. We've been working on this one for weeks!"

SpaceX is a good bet. OpenAI is doing some pretty crazy stuff. Google and a few others have quantum computing laboratories. That's always appealed to me as well.

I'm using a pretty underpowered PC 1000 series graphics card. It chugs. Building for the Quest 2 using UE5, Blender, and a few plugins and templates from the unreal ecosystem. I also have a huion drawing tablet but I think you could go

Unity seemed easier to use in some ways but I liked Unreal's licensing model better. They also keep throwing in more free assets.

I'm learning unreal engine 5 to make vr games. I try to make stuff or find stuff online and then I put it in VR and I can look at it up close, or eventually fight it or team up with it. It's pretty hard but it's just nonstop

Ah pardon me you are exactly correct. I meant in the United States. I don't know much about payments outside the US other than the very broad strokes.

That is correct. Most retailers build this into the price of the item and you have to pay it anyway even if you're paying cash. Sometimes you may notice that retailers will charge less if you pay cash, or will have a minimum for using

The nice thing about mistakes is that you can learn from them. I find success sooths the ego but is often less of an education. People switch between manager and IC over the course of their career all the time. This will probably become one

Very good chance the Capital of Mars or some significant cities / outposts on Mars are named after Elon. I think there is actually quite a good chance he is remembered in 1000 years. At least in a vauge recognize the name from textbook

Interesting that the limiting factor is energy and wind. I wonder if you could devise a locking mechanism or something purely mechanical to solve it. Something closer to gears in a watch.
