A couple years ago, I wrote 5 things I had learned [0] going from side project to a full-time business. Might be worth a read? [0]: https://keygen.sh/blog/5-things-ive-learned-in-5-years/

This is incredibly phishy, and I'm frankly disappointed that people would fall for such a thing. FastSpring, or any other payment provider, would not ask you to pay $150 for "admin costs" by following a link, otherwise your a

No, the headline is blatantly trying to elicit a negative response towards Unreal i.r.t. Unity's recent pricing change.

It'll be missed, but the brand needed a refresh. I threw that old logo together in a weekend and it was showing its age (at least to me). I kept the dynamic text as a tribute.

Exactly. Now the sales cycle is much easier, and can usually be done in an email instead of a series of pointless calls to size each other up.

Mine goes up to $6k/mo: https://keygen.sh/pricing/ . I started using transparent pricing a couple years ago because I was tired of answering the same questions over and over again for enterprise leads.

I don't know, and that's why I want a WAF without a CDN. I don't need a CDN at all, and I wish I could disable Cloudflare's. But per RFC 9110 [^0], "the Date header field represents the date and time at which the me

It's the ideal solution (and one I already implemented with a Keygen-Date header), yes, but this bug was discovered months after the feature was introduced and relied upon (I run an API product). So it's not as simple as using a d

This is something I've looked for many times before. I actually don't want the CDN side of Cloudflare (some parts of my app are incompatible with the way their CDN works), but I do want the WAF. But Cloudflare doesn't let you

It's not easy, but it's doable. You have to cultivate the business you want to run (going solo vs with a team). I never personally outsourced much work other than bookkeeping/financials, and instead opted to do things myself.
