This seems to me to be a very weird and overly simplistic modelling. Where I live has a wealth tax, and it's in exchange for a capital gains tax, dividend tax, withholding tax, that sort of thing. The way it works here is that it'

I bet they're doing a lot more A/B tests than that. I work with a system that has thousands going on at any one time, I wouldn't be surprised that that is typical for bigger companies that get into the testing culture like th

Things like the Pixel 3a are ~5.5 inch, which is not 5, but better than the full size ones if you don't want a big one.

I tend to agree, smooth is IME also usually (but definitely not entirely) used sarcastically, when someone does something accidentally silly, like bumping into a glass door or similar. (over 30 male, NZ)

I have done this for a moderately complex site, it was a bit of work, but not the end of the world. I'm sure some things went missing, but we got 99% of it, which I consider successful enough. You can do 301s statically, by generating

That is how it works at my workplace, you choose who you get feedback from that is presented to your manager. Usually you choose your team and a couple of people you've worked closely with outside the team.

They can't in general, it's against the law to do that. And there are penalties if caught (and being caught is not so hard.)

That is not what's going on here. This is a company protecting its users from a scam. If you don't want that protection, it's quite feasible to not use that company and use one that doesn't do that, or manage your own wa

That looks to my mostly uneducated eye like a badly designed intersection. You can't just slap a cycle lane (especially two-way) in and expect it to work, that's a poor solution. Compare to here, https://goo.gl/map

I mean, you can say it doesn't work all you like, but the reality is that it does, and there is concrete (well, asphalt) evidence right outside my window and all over the rest of the city and country that it works and works well. It ju

Improved infrastructure helps everyone in a much more effective manner than a technological solution needing to be reliably used by hundreds of thousands of individuals.

Of course you can. Unless it's low-traffic enough that it's not needed, every road here has a dedicated bike lane, and usually it's a separate path. I think it's a legal requirement to do so. This product feels like atte

This is something I'd really like too, I have the speakers in my apartment set up with a pair of Chromecast audios, and would use the bandcamp app a lot more if it could work with them. At the moment I just try to find the bands on Goo

From memory, the default RiscOS was kinda flat looking, but there was some application you could run that added a theme to it that made it more like the screenshot. This would have been in the mid-90s ('96 or so) when I was using them.

This is true, however without copyright I think many other things would change making the GPL a lot less necessary. For example, no one could prevent you giving your friend a copy of a program, so the market would change a whole lot. Basica
