Running 3-5 year old code shows that the provider/company probably doesn't prioritize or fund testing as well as they should IMO. I'm sure Juniper would work with any company who asked for a patch or custom work around if they cannot upgrad

You can't really blame Juniper for these crashes. They released a fix for the issue months ago. These customers must not have upgraded. See the juniper software alert here: http://pastebin.com/HBWiH92j

What does it cost per month for a simple VPS service that can do this?

Did you know what you could also embed a flash file, 3D, and more into a PDF? Watch Julia Wolf's talk "OMG WTF PDF" to learn more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54XYqsf4JEY

Instead of dropping cable for Netflix: why not drop them all together and get an active hobby? We spend enough time indoors already in my opinion.

Why not just add people who you want to associate with, and not people aren't significant in your life any longer?

Over ten years ago (when I was in high school) the school I went to ended the metal shop class that I took. We were told that it was ended because of a lack of funding to support the class. Soon after they closed the class the school sold o

If you live in Mountain View (or the bay area for that matter) go to 99 Ranch. It's an asian supermarket that smells like fish due to their huge live seafood section. If you can get past the smell you will be able to buy fruits and vegetabl

I made the move to Silicon Valley about four years ago. It was one of the best choices I've made in my life. I wish I would have made the move a long time ago. If you only make around 60k now, don't expect to get a 100% raise once you move

While that is nice, couldn't (and isn't) this possible on any smart phone with 3G/4G and a video camera?

Currently my side project is taking two college classes at night. While it won't make me rich in the short term, I know it will pay off in the future. I'm only able to do two classes at the moment since I work 50+ hrs a week in the office.

Maybe everyone is using Chrome with the "Disconnect" add-on? :) The Chrome Disconnect add-on removes the annoying facebook items from all web pages.

Japan town in san jose is one area. It won't be a brand new unit of course. You can find deals if you spend some time looking around.

With dual income I am surprised you weren't able to buy a home in silicon valley. Unless you are dead set on sending your kids to school in Cupertino (or another expensive area with a really good school). Also, why spend 3k a month on rent?

Remember the first iPhone? You weren't supposed to need to install any apps because you could just make a web page to do the same thing. Apple has served up 10B apps to date.. so developers will be making money from selling "useless apps" t
