All of the data presented seems to be parents who are anxious about their performance at work, then, what, a single anecdote about an asshole manager? I'm sure this problem exists, but I as a peer or manager do not hold this against th

Someone mentioned federation but the problem is that often there isn't a good group to federate. Google+ wasn't great, but I do miss circles. But the intersection of my circles and the circles of those in my circles were small. I

The OPs point did point out that accessibility becomes less important in advanced topics. The things you've mentioned are largely elementary computer science concepts so they're both more amenable to descriptive naming and more im

The property is adjacent to a residential area, so sort of to all of them, but not plug and go. Even if it was on the property, 600 acres is big enough that it might not be in the right place. I think it's just shy of 1.5hrs from a maj

No, but it does multiply the cost. It means instead of breaking one key per conversation, there would be many. That could be the difference required.

The title is terrible, but what is interesting to me is whether this could allow the direct draw of power from a nuclear reactor, instead of just through heat.

The one Im looking at is $2.25M. A bargain for the property, still a bit much for little old me by myself.

Very interesting, but what stops an adversary from spoofing a key 6' that was derived from 5 in the same way the network might? The same verification would derive 5 from 6', then 4, down to 0. What secret does the network have tha

This thread has reminded me of a concept (whose term I am struggling and failing to remember) that is as important, if not more, than what is traditionally thought of as the cap table. In the case of a sale, investors with <this term>

It would seem to be a failing of the C language that ultimately prevents us from coming up with re-useable recipes for this. Macros or generics of sufficient power in a language with an advanced type system should be able to accomplish this

Why is Arc needed? It's a global singleton so we don't need to worry about dropping it. Just a RwLock<T> should be fine or maybe even Cell if you don't need RwLock guarantees.
