Do we know why bankers chose green instead of yellow for their eye shades? I know they wore them due to eye strain, but why green and not something else?

Oh I agree. I think it will never happen. But as a data point, Facebook has the option to add it: https://www.facebook.com/notes/protect-the-graph/securing-em... So, it's not too far fetched.

What I don't understand is why these kind of "ride sharing" services don't do more to protect their drivers (I almost said "employees"). Salesmen in the same company who work on commission generally parcel out

It'd be pretty neat to give a bank your public PGP key and then they could send you encrypted emails with more details.

I believe you can change to the new format (still not ed25519 though). After generating your keypair in the AWS console, do "ssh-keygen -p -o -f aws.pem" and add a strong passphrase generated from a password manager.

This isn't public info in some cases though. Airline sky clubs charge a fee and one of the benefits is their wifi (note that on the map, these aren't just airports, but airline sky clubs). That's like you coming to my house,

The phrase "don't be evil" is obviously open to interpretation when it comes to issues like these. Most of us agree on a common moral standard since we have conscience (don't murder people, don't steal from people,

A lot of STEM PhD's are transitioning into data science in industry. It seems you have a lot of CS background as well, so "data engineer" might also be a role you should look into. Also, you say you have no experience working

Yeah, that's the GNU coding standard. Changelog is for developers and bug hunters to see changes to the source. Version control probably takes the place of that now. NEWS is for "user-visible changes worth mentioning". https

You don't throw out your entire purse because it has cigarettes in it. Throw out the cigarettes and keep the purse. Uninstall the addictive apps and keep the smartphone if you want it for its utility.

Why I'm Using a Smart Phone I've thought about this, but I've realized it's not the phone but specific websites/apps that can be time-consuming addictions. I have no social media accounts on my phone, so that seems

Originally the State governments directly chose their Senators. So you had a house for the States and a house for the People. The 17th Amendment brought about the situation we have today.

I think the complaint about the Senate having a different makeup than the House begs the question - why even have two houses in Congress? The original Constitution had State governments choose their Senators and the House was the "Peop
