I think this is a good point. There was supposed to be a coordinated reopening with the tristate because of that thought, but maybe that plan changed.

The ferry companies and NYC lobbied to make access by ferry only. There are two locations to board the ferry. One in Jersey and one in NYC. Ferry companies obviously didn’t want to lose revenue and NYC didn’t want people to go to Jersey.

I’d agree on the training time but your serialized model should be small on disk since only the support vectors are needed for inference. At least with my experience that has been true.

Local and state governments do simulations for the resources in their jurisdictions. I have seen some posted for NJ but can’t find them now and they would be out of date by now.

I think most have the right attitude. I’m in the NYC area and most had closed even before any official request or order. Although there are always some members who don’t get it. I was actually able to get our church to use Zoom for the time

I think the cert issue is because of DNS hijacking by my ISP so that they can (falsely) tell me the site has malware. I can’t view the cert now that I’ve made an exception to it.

Someone accidentally hitting someone with a car and someone intentionally doing so are very different things. The key is what evidence you have to show one or the other. If there is evidence someone hired a hitman then I don’t see how that
