Thanks! I saw they have a working group on crypto so applied to join that, keen to see what they're up to. Standardizing data structures across chains makes a lot of sense but sadly there's a lot of competition rather than collabo

Where can I read more about those formats? I work in crypto, same as cantor trading that posted this, and always keen on re-using solved problems if they work :)

Lots of scammy-looking FANG Algo/Career sites sell subscriptions and seem fairly lucrative, and then you have Udacity/Coursera/Edx that sell you a certificate if you want one. Personally I quite like Udemy because they’re che

Detach! Do things you enjoy for a while - I find it helps to make sure academia/career/whatever isn't my entire personality (which I fall into quite often) and tend to come back to whatever I left with enthusiasm after a coup

I like the NHS but it is a massive cash hole. I don't believe it could ever be fixed with more money - it's already the seventh largest employer in the world in a fairly small country. The issue is in its red-tape, middle-manageme

Private health insurance is a bit of a scam for anything serious in the UK though - they don't have the ability to do anything out of the ordinary or complex and send you to the NHS hospitals when they are out of their depth.

Facebook has been hiring FPGA engineers with ML experience since 2018 so I don't think this would be out of the question! But even so, Nvidia sell custom GPUs that aren't the same ones for gaming.
