Playing the devil's advocate here but I believe humans do not need preserving. With 7 billion individuals and counting, it seems we're doing just fine. Regardless of how poor the living conditions are for many of us. For this particular spe

It strikes me that pretty much all of these 'tips' seem to me to be pretty logical and old news. Is the average office really that bad that these sort of things have to be published over and over again?

I generally have little faith in the success of petitions in general. But the fact that one is being signed says something about the petitioners.

Same here. Also a native Dutch speaker, but by far the most of my daily communication happens in English. I scored 25600 on the test. My use of English is limited to daily-use for the most part. Apart from IT terminology, I rarely encounter

It is interesting how Facebook's 'Friend Suggestions' quickly made your list spiral out of control. They are just suggestions. You are in no way obligated to add any single one of them. I find myself wondering why some people think it does

A guy named 'merethan' posted a great essay on the subject in 2010. It gives a good explanation of what the music industry is about and why it still operates the way it does, without going too much into the financial details. The original a
