Zod is great, but JSON-schema is my pick because it is easily serialized. So a client can query for the schema of the data it should send or receive, including descriptions/metadata that is useful for presenting a UI.

By this logic we should also get rid of Discord? It is basically owned by Tencent (aka, is also owned by China). I am not sure what makes the most sense from a foreign policy perspective. But we should be careful about our selective attenti

Agree its a bit unnatural, but it seems workable. My problem with the auxiliary table is, I wouldn't know how to implement the unique constraint.

Interesting! But where can you implement the UNIQUE constraint for doc names under a given parent? I guess your application code would need to handle that

I have struggled to implement a tree structure in PG with nullable unique values. Consider a "docs" table where each doc has a unique name, under a given parent doc. A null parent would be a top-level doc, and top-level docs just

So glad you already cover my favorite ideas for monetization! I'm considering how to monetize my own startup- currently the whole codebase is permissively licensed. I plan to sell a hosted service, but hopefully I will be in a position

I wouldn't put effort into changing if you have no troubles with nginx. Caddy has some neat features like live-configuration and built in LetsEncrypt. Plus the JSON configuration is a great idea, once I get it working. The real reason

Caddy is such a delight! I can't reccomend it fast enough when somebody mentions they are on nginx. Small random feedback: I like the idea of JSON configuration but most of the common docs/recipes are documented only with the Cadd

These are some cute "fuck off"s but its unlikely that these sites actually respect the robots.txt, right? Correct me if I'm wrong: After the recent web scraping ruling[1] it seems that it's perfectly legal to ignore the

Makes a lot of sense to sell a service powered by an open source project. Why is the blockchain token "the best way", or necessary at all?
