I got a ticket-- been lucky the last four years. Frustrating experience every year. I "got" a ticket three times, but Google Wallet times out and wouldn't let me buy the first two. The third time around (after waiting in the queue), I notic

Hmm I've gone every year (for last three years I only) as well, and haven't gotten an opportunity to early register. Hell I'm even a Glass Explorer that went to the San Francisco Foundry.

I went to the San Francisco Glass Foundry--- it was awesome. I felt loss after I had to hand the device back-- as if I was missing one of my senses. :) Unfortunately as you undoubtably well know, I cannot talk any details due to NDA.

This is flawed, very flawed. I weight lift now and workout 6 days a week... in college I was a skinny 5'11" and 130. I'm not 5'11" and 186. This is going to tell me I'm fat.

Still do not get all the Java hate--- it's plenty valid enough for Android dev-- and easy to use. Some people just like hating it because they think it's cool to do so. :)

And what of the "unuseful successful innovation"? 1) Android is growing like wildfire-- contributes over a billion to revenue last year it was claimed. 2) Google App Engine serves over a billion page load a day. 3) Google Apps? I love it--

This article is poorly thought out. He accuses Google of stifling innovation, then he spouts this gem: "Meanwhile, at Google, the cash cow is search-driven advertising. That allows the company to encourage engineers to waste 20% of their ti
