59k is an average household income and average households have 2.5 people, which is likely two incomes (over 60% of households). That becomes closer to something like 33 years, which nudges close to the boundaries of most people's enti

My point was that Ember is older than the repo age indicates. “Forking” vs “renaming a project and creating a new repo” sounds an awful lot like the same thing to me anyways.

Likewise, Ember holds the record on that list at 6.5 years, it was forked from SproutCore which goes back even further.

The odds of Apple releasing a development ARM board is probably roughly equal to that of them releasing complete documentation and linux kernel driver support to go along with it.

For one, everything here appears to be free and open source. Prince is pretty costly to run as a small endeavor and last I knew their pricing model wasn't very kind to horizontal scaling.

The pre-check line doesn't involve all of the slow-downs the regular line does. I've seen it longer too but it easily moves 10x as many people through. Nothing needs to be removed except metal in your pockets, you typically walk q

We're talking about a Cordova-wrapped SPA. You can develop those on Raspberry Pis if you had to. A 9 year old $250 MBP off ebay will absolutely suffice.

Office for Mac is generally regarded as inferior to the Windows versions and the Mac version of Internet Explorer was last released like 14 years ago. I’m not even sure it runs on Intel Macs.

This sounds pretty far outside the realm of what Charles does (it's a web dev tool, not a system scrubber). But something like "Little Snitch for iOS" would fit the bill.

Core counts between the two aren't equal yet. The A11 is still using a 6 core processor and could seemingly bump that up to 8 cores and widen the gap more easily than Qualcomm could close it too.
