I've switched from wmii (old suckless tiling wm) to niri a couple of months ago and I've been happier with it than with sway/i3 -- give it a shot :)

I've considered this, but I'm running on a potato, and fetching the whole atuin history seems to take a while: $ time atuin history list --print0 -f "{time} | {command}" > /dev/null real 0m1.8

I couldn't find a run or raise repo that'd have a ws.jq and I'm not convinced it's https://github.com/thaliaarchi/wsjq (whitespace programing language implemented in jq...) Could you point at that?

Don't loop on values with `*`; the difference key/value is the lack of `!` at the start of the expression; `*` and `@` rules are the sames a $@ and $* and you almost never want *.

Thanks! My nixpkgs clone is 5.2GB so it's not too far indeed! :) I think the nixpkgs workflow is much less prone to rebase/merges (some cherry-picks to stable branches I don't do much), but it's a very good data point, t

How does jj handle very large git repos, e.g. this linux clone with a mix&mash of quite a few upstreams with a 6GB big .git dir? (I agree I probably shouldn't focus on that first, and could just try jj first on smaller rpos... But

mounting /nix/store from the host into the guest works with as many guests as you like - this is what the nixos tests framework does all the time, you just need a different "system" derivation for each (different) VM. Th

Couple of things spring to mind: - didn't check if nixos uses it, but coreutil has a single binary mode (like busybox, a single binary is built and symlinks or hardlinks are used to provide all the commands); that might save some space

I wasn't aware of 'keywords', thank you! Shame there's no completion / easy list (I think?) for things I'd rarely use, but I'll give it a try for a couple and add more progressively if it works well.
