This is such a great advice overall. Many people are commenting about flaws in the overall approach, yet everything said is exactly what I saw working/not working in such early companies.

I'm in EU and I can't agree this describes most engineers. Overwork culture is also present here and exploited by a lot of companies.

Nice, I wanted to build something similar for a long time. The coolest thing is to start summarising clusters for very large codebases, which essentially provides an LoD system for the context.

Wow. Lightpanda is absolutely bonkers of a project. I'd pay dearly for such an option a few years back.

I use coding agents for similar kind of problem very frequently. It makes wonders debugging obscure system issues related to components that I have no faintest idea about. Also building a homelab very soon. I think you may find this project

I've implemented agentic framework exactly like this for my current employer. It opens up absolutely bonkers capabilities.

Was it cooked when they invented high-level languages and presumably every clerk got an ability to write Software? Surely it eliminated all need in people specialising in writing it, it became so simple. There's always a market for thi

Yes, the tool here is just to share the prompt, sorry the first one I had handy is the one describing the service itself. Here's it in plain text to be more visible: ``` textclip.sh→URL gen: #t=<txt>→copy page | ?ask=<preset&g

Arguably, math notation and set theory already has everything that we need. For example see this prompt describing an app: https://textclip.sh/?ask=chatgpt#c=XZTNbts4EMfvfYqpc0kQWpsEc...

No way! I lost all hope for this to happen. Three years waiting. Edit: yeah, Intel GPUs only.

I'm trying to find good-enough algorithm for ranking GitHub repo "relevance", based on minimum amount of data. I have settled on a combination of log(stars) and half-life penalty for days since last commit. It works surprisin

If you're following local/open-weight LLMs, this might be an interesting retrospective of 2025.

Just a fun little workflow I made. You can find the code here: https://github.com/av/harbor/blob/main/boost/src/modules/dnd...

Hi, I've been rocking my LLM setup for more than two years now and it grew quite extensive enough to warrant an "awesome" list. You may read in detail about my experience with all the services here on r/LocalLLaMa: http

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone. Due to the nature of what I do, I'm often accumulating ~800-900GB of Docker images and volumes on my machine, sometimes running 20-30 containers at once starting/stopping them concurrently

There are too many LLM-related projects. Setting up multiple runtimes, Python, Node, Go, Rust and then some environments, different CUDA versions, dependencies is tedious. Managing updates later is even worse. So, I'm building a toolki

Made a fun little experiment this evening. You can watch a tiny transformer (Karpathy's NanoGPT) model learning features and structure of English language in just over 12 minutes in real time from the tiny_shakespeare dataset. You can
