This premise is faulty. The programmers are the same, it is simply what sells well and what qualities are emphasized that are different on each platform.

Make the product first, then buy the domain outright. If I recall correctly this is what Facebook did. They started out as thefacebook.com and then made the switch once they had money/success.

Personally I'm still enamored with WolframAlpha, though Bing has a distinct edge in ease of typing=). I realize that (for now) these sites are apples to oranges, but I would welcome any move by Microsoft/Google to take on Wolfram. Perhaps

The method should be: array<number>.sum The article is correct .sum shouldn't be on an array, but sum shouldn't be global either. This is why generics exist.
