Recheck the frame tv. I wanted one until I realized it's just a thin tv thats motion activated to stay on/turn on and show a static image.

Nice! This is similar to the problem I face with my property, on a much smaller scale. Currently I'm hand weeding the invasive plants, but even for a 100' x 10' patch it's labor intensive.

Yah, I'm not arguing that Matt is saying incorrect things, I'm saying his videos need extra scrutiny because he is sometimes using his videos for advertising and gives less than accurate portrayals of certain products. It looks li

Matt's videos are worth watching, but it's important to note most his videos are motivated by his sponsorships and it's often hard to parse out when he's shilling and when he's not. Betters resources with real scien

I'm sure there's something out there, but something I haven't seen is a breakdown of the environmental impact for _producing_ the LED lighting versus the alternatives. I'd be interested to see that.

This might be more of an issue in the U.S. where car illumination standards are different. At night, nearly every vehicle I come across produced > ~2018 has blinding headlights that require me to squint drastically.

No doubt, these are all purchases I don't actually make with any regularity. But it seems to me like the prices you listed are outliers. Hershey's has cheap chocolate, mcdonalds has cheap coffee, but surely we don't take the

This is the same realization I had recently. The value of my house is likely up 15% from last year. My investments grew 20%, my income went up, getting food from any restaurant seems to cost at least $40 for two people, hard to find a bar o

Also, dust from certain species of wood can be quite bad for you. If I didn't know the origin and history of a piece of wood, I'd likely avoid working with it.

This advice should have a very large disclaimer. A majority of old finish lumber in the U.S. has been painted with lead based paint. Unfortunately the safest thing to do with this lumber is throw it away. Also in many homes floorboards have

This can't be stressed enough. Work outings are still work, and all of a sudden an employer has monopolized my time. Are work events _really_ optional? If I _never_ show up to them?
