I didn't see anything wrong with 'Should Apple be forced to give the Terrorist's phone data to the FBI' It is what it is. You guys focuses more on how to limit FBI to abuse the terrorist card to violate privacy. But in c

Google Now has been used as voice reminder keeper by me for a long time! There are cases where it can still miss by a large margin, but general usability has greatly improved over past 2 years. I would love to see that this thing become sm

Not surprising, they lose money for shipping. With the competition going down, they might feel it is a good time for price bump.

Somewhat true. But should be good enough for beginners though. I would also love to learn other good machine learning discussion panel out of Reddit as well :)

I think people need to pay more attention to the current AI status. It is rapidly maturing and offering surprises every year. Most of the progress didn't make to the news, as AlphaGo level, but it is going to have bigger impact to our

It smells weird. Yahoo still has a lot of assets, and it is making money. Why suddenly for sales? Only Wallstreet greediness can explain this for me.

Well. Google is an exception case here. Which I have pointed out. I dont think you use the Chinese internet product that much either. Ecommerce is pretty open in China, if you can survive. Uber is going to be more like Amazon than Google. G

I will just be honest, although a little rusty. Global(US) company cant survive in China, a major reason is that their services are not competitive enough(although a few exceptions, e.g. Google Search), comparing to local rivals. Amazon, fo

Didn't understand the reason behind...If Twitter stays the same, they are surely dead too. A big reason that Twitter get crushed is because they basically didn't change over the past 3 years.

They will probably produce some China-only version to please the government. A open letter like this, will instantly end their relationship with the government, they won't even attempt to do it.

It makes sense for them. If they put a backdoor in iPhone for US government, they are effectively thrown out of Chinese market. Interesting enough, what will Apple do if Chinese government demand they to decrypt/put backdoor in exchang

China's GDP is misleading, everyone including the government themselves doesn't trust it fully(see keqiang index), but odd enough, anyone else's method is more problematic. Then again, it is not reliable, but doesn't mea

Thanks for explaining this. As to my own experience dealing with data, the degree of freedom, as basically a programmer, is small. Specifically, I have to think and bear tools in my mind from the start. Which might not be ideal, but cant av
