I think Oculus Quest could be the iPhone of VR. Keep in mind that the iPhone gen 1 didn’t sell well at all compared to just about any other iPhone generation.

I think the experience has improved a lot recently, and it's grown much more popular than Wire, so you may find your friends already on Signal rather than needing to convert them. For comparison, Wire for iOS has 204 ratings (3.9 stars

Sales tax is not included in the price, so if you buy the $399 phone, the sales tax is added on top of $399. The amount depends on state and city laws. Usually about 7.75%, so the $399 phone would cost about 430 total.

This reminds me of the 5 year period from 2007 to 2012 when Apple made Safari for Windows. I got curious and used it for a few weeks, but moved back to Firefox for the extensions.

If the law is on Getty's side, the law should be changed. Selling public domain content should be illegal if it's a digital work, as opposed to a printed book. At the very least, it should be required that it's clearly labele

My guess is that an AirPower-like mat will come back in late 2019 or 2020, after Apple updates the Apple Watch to use the same wireless charging technology as iPhones.

I figured it out on the day my subscription lapsed, and someone created their own repository using my domain in their CNAME file. I had to wait until GitHub banned the user until I could set up the domain with GitHub Pages again.

These are NOT refurbished iPhone SEs, these are new iPhone SEs. They are only in the refurbished section of the store because Apple just didn't bother making a dedicated section for clearance products. If you look at a product listing

The average Western European/North American consumes 220 pounds of plastic per year. A pair of AirPods (0.016 pounds) are 0.007% of that figure. I think there are much bigger categories in our plastic consumption that we might want to
