You, my friend, are a classy messager.

The other thing that gets my goat is the person that sends every line. I guess it’s hard not to do in slack since “enter” sends, but I really wish slack would debounce messages notifications from the same person.

That’s actually a great point I was on “vacation” last week and got messaged every single day despite my palm tree emoji.

I really want to set this as my status message in slack, but don’t want people to think I’m rude. Would you think it was rude if you saw this link as somebody’s status message?

This is nice from the app manifest perspective because you can declare your database right along side your deployment. The provisioning time of a deployment and an RDS instance is very different though. This is probably most useful when you

Same. I was starting a new CLI project the other day and thought “ya know, I’ll try crystal instead of doing this in go.” But then I got to the home page and saw “fund crystal and help make it production ready” and felt like it wasn’t a ris

I was curious what the process was ~4 years ago for this so I “misplaced” my ID flying from SF to LA and the first agent at the beginning of the line looked me up on LinkedIn then they did a bag inspection and they let me through (I had a p

It is a major version change, right? It seems like the best time to introduce some breaking changes for the betterment of the language.

I worked at SG years back (~2005) and that was the stack sans-redis. On my resume I don’t list the company name. In its place it says “social network centered around ‘art’” because we weren’t allowed to call it porn.

It’s important to respect the boundaries, but also have the flexibility to change them as the business changes. I’ve seen many times where people were afraid to change boundaries because they assumed the first person got the architecture ex

I’m honestly not trying to be snarky here but I didn’t know there was any other way to design microservices (with intention) that weren’t domain oriented.

I’m the only one on the planet, but I hate Notion. It’s a mediocre spreadsheet, half assed database, and infuriating WYSIWYG ... but all-in-one!!1 And it’s search sucks.
