this is very much dependent on which country you live in. I moved from South Africa to the UK and was very surprised by how long online transfers take to clear. Back home they can clear instantly most of the time, even across different bank

Have to agree here, employment is a contract you and the other party decide. If they held to that contract and you over delivered without discussing further compensation that was your mistake, not theirs.

I'd rather have things more complex and have the ability, than simpler and not. By that argument we should all use horse carts instead of cars.

uh, sounds to me like you have the upside and the downside mixed up there. Them not taking control of the news market by realising they have already lost it sounds like an up to me. I'd rather have the power of where people find information

would it be possible to take this same engine and use it for a live sentence by sentence translation of spoken voice conversations on the android, since there the platform is more open? that's a scarily awesome proposition.

however, with open data in google maps, a search like that may start to yield results sooner than you think. I did a search via google maps the other day for resuraunts around me and noticed booking info in the popup. It's not far away to g

that seems like a pretty good idea, has anyone ever thought of this on the ELF-based platforms before?

the article seems to reference a format and reinstall. I'm quite sure an upgrade path exists for windows 7, why would they bother with the xp virtualisation for older programs with no way to upgrade and keep those programs.

seems not far off, but a hosted paid for version of the same thing. It's a lot easier to set this up than Selenium from what I've seen. Even if ease of setup is the only difference they'll still be a really popular service.

really awesome service. very very impressive. price point seems a bit high for another small company to be using, but corporates would jump all over it. hope it takes off, well done.

take a look at the hosting cost on something like slicehost.com for a server. add in bandwidth costs to your server costs. does it still seem better to be developing on windows? also, what are you charging your customers if 20 minutes or yo

point 1 is completely not true. most adventure games I've played require things from many screens to be solved before moving on to the next puzzle. monkey island springs to mind as the most obvious example of this.

I was about to post this too. Surely all the possible nodes include all possible search terms, as well as all web pages. Then search and relations are synonymous. Any thoughts on how your system would be different from a search engine in th
