Actually interestingly enough full screen apps that have palettes are really nice on multiple monitors. Omnigraffle, etc. The palettes can live on top of the linen on your secondary display. it makes using Keynote, omnigraffle and similar a

I can't figure out this rating. What perspective are you taking on usage? Technical user? Casual music consumer?

So cool. When I was running a tech department I had a supply cabinet in my office that had the same function. We had spare hard drives, keyboards, mice, batteries, cables (especially USB and display dongles). We also had a good one day turn

I'm interested to see how the US consumer reacts to Spotify. Streaming music isn't new, and its had very little uptick as consumer behavior is mostly given toward a 5 record a year purchase (average music spend per US 18-65 is 50 bucks ther

Having sub-tasks would be cool that auto-percentaged the completion of a milestone. IE: "Wireframes" as a milestone/road, should have stops per wireframe. Otherwise its way too abstract to use to manage a granular project.

No clue. I know a lot of smart people who aren't crazy though. I think with Courtney (who I have a mutual friend with), she's been isolated just enough to let the crazy foster and the smarts carry her through. I admire her, not without cave

Very true. You also need to be willing to walk away and hold the line. I've seen contract negotiations go for YEARS.

I hate this headline. This is not RIAA accounting: its having a bad lawyer and not negotiating a good deal. I've been in plenty of deal meetings and seen the good and the bad. The good artists retain most of their rights, negotiate a buy ou

It's not weird. The media needs to sell media and will skew, manipulate or otherwise deliberately misinterpret any given data set to get the story they want. In the end everyone is trying to jockey into position for an exclusive, invite, PR

I used to have a 2 x 27 and 2 of the high pixel density Samsung 23" displays. That was a killer setup. At home I have a iMac 27" + a 27" cinema display which works well, but still not as nice as my old four monitor setup. From the back: ht

I went from having a 17" Mac Book Pro core i5 and a Mac Pro 8 core, both with maxed RAM to my MBA 13" top of line. While I love the SSD, and I love the form factor, when working at a desk I really really pine for more RAM and a faster chip.
