Interesting choices, finally something that isn't just another Linux distribution.

I have a soft spot for the brutal simplicity of the .COM format.

- simple language - close to the CPU - architecture independent These 3 aspects are insanely hard to combine effectively. Also is Forth 'close to the CPU'? It definitely is low-level.

I remember reading this in Dr. Dobb's Journal back in the day when I was still using Assembly language.

I am an MPA purist, yet I fully realize that there exists a class of applications where SPA is the best choice ;)

Project Oberon does not use paged memory. For the most part memory defragmentation is done by a relatively simple system-wide garbage collector (by copying live objects to one end of the heap).

I don't understand, I thought document.createElement() is independent of JSX. JSX works just as well in Deno/Bun/Node.js without DOM functions.

I haven't seen many projects where people attempt to use SLIM templates as an alternative to HTML; rather, they are used as a complement. SLIM is for deeply nested structures and layouts, while HTML is for actual content.

SLIM is similar, but a bit cleaner: https://github.com/mattn/go-slim Both SLIM and HAML resemble a DOM tree, it looks somewhat similar to what you would see in the browser inspector.

I appreciate that in JSX, functions can be used as if they were first-class elements. In this case that would be accomplished by supporting the following instead: @hmlt HomePage() { %SiteLayout %p This is the home page f

That's awesome, I have used c2nim frequently in the past, it's easy to forget its existence with LLMs now being able to fullfill similar goals.

I often have GPT-4 translate C code fragments into Nim for me because I find Nim’s readability enhances clarity, allowing me to catch more details in a shorter amount of time. But I'm aware that this is probably a personal preference t

So we have JSX-like language support for: - Javascript / Typescript - Lua (this) - Go ( https://templ.guide ) - Ruby ( https://github.com/camertron/rux ) Any others?
