Experiments like these are really fun to do in a small setting. In reality you would only get to this point after having built a complete programming language with all its parts. But in a situation like this you can start at the end, focus

This is really interesting technology for people to find 'common ground' in polarized discussions. I really wish more research would be done in this direction.

It's weird that Skiff still represent documents in pages. I guess most tech workers make a hardcopy of a document once or twice a year (or even less?).

Does Porter support having isolated environments per git branch like Quovery? https://docs.qovery.com/docs/getting-started/what-is-qovery/...

Natural selection? Most devs try to avoid a lock-in situation. Having an open source option for the base functionality with additional paid features is something you can compete on.

I was referring to the concept, not whether it is centralized or decentralized. Most blockchain applications don't need one to function.

What is interesting about Oberon is that it is a complete (i.e. OS + compiler + HW) usable system that can be understood in its entirety by a single human being within one lifetime. As far as I know it's also the only system currently

It's interesting how often I underestimate how people can have an entirely different interpretation of the same thing I read a moment ago. I am going to re-read the article to see if I can recognize your interpretation of it.

Thanks. Do you still see ways/options leading to that 'perfect world' scenario? Or does that seem unrealistic for years to come given the current situation?

To me that sounds like wilfully ignoring all the caching and concurrency opportunities you could have in addition to forcing all data through a single point of congestion. At least caching can be solved somewhat, but not on the protocol lev
