Gaming on non-MS PC platforms is a pretty small niche anyway though. I can see the appeal, but my guess is that the work to newly available marketbase ratio here isn't all that great.

I don't think that this is an issue. You can make these support / refute conditions visible, and leave it to the viewer to judge if they're reasonable.

I suspect he's referring to Gender Dysphoria, which was previously known as Gender Identity Disorder. This, if I recall correctly, happened in the transition to DSM 5.0.

The argument made was about positive publicity, though that was also turned into "positive reviews" via the wonders of the internet telephone game. GamerGate was a far more complex scenario than you're simplifying it to.

Source code shouldn't matter for performance testing though. Simply fire through a bunch of known-result-samples through the various services and take a look at the test statistics. Determining accuracy is hardly the hard part.
