It's a good way to remind you the figure is in ms, and easily manipulate the interval as a fraction of a second.

Obviously it's not representative of all users, but Steam breaks down its hardware survey by OS version. The 60% using Windows 7 64bit is a convincing majority. http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey

They offer BaaS and for many apps can remove the need to setup, configure and administrate any form of backend. I'm not sure about OSX, but they've written a bunch of convenience methods for iOS and Android that are fantastic for rapidly it

Is this particularly better on either a traditional start menu or OSX? Finding an application you don't know the name of will always be a difficult thing to do.

Is it a problem that the start menu is huge? The traditional start menu has always felt like a huge usability nightmare to me and I'm nothing but glad that it's been replaced.

Yes, but the Galaxy Nexus both preceded a working version of Flash for ICS and never thereafter shipped with it anyway (it had to be manually installed from the Store).

Android has not come with flash since Jelly Bean: Adobe long since stopped supporting it and it's absolutely not available on the Nexus 7 unless you sideload some legacy APK.
