Isn't there an extent to which this worked for this author simply because his actions were more of an outlier within the industry, rather than the norm? And it was perhaps entirely because it was an unusual exception (though not without pre

Personally it's more of a "I want to see what website I'm about to open in my browser" ideology than pithy moral meanings. But sure!

Sorry, where did they do this? Some of the examples they gave, certainly, didn't conform to all of their tips - only the one that they were demonstrating at the time, but I didn't see any contradiction in the text?

Hasn't this already been available for a while as the "Site Overlay" option? Sure, it's slightly reskinned and relaunched, but I'm unsure what this is offering that hasn't already been around for years.

Its non-inclusion throws this whole demonstration into question, imo.

I doubt many people would question that he has significant liquid assets, I was just pointing out the relevance of the question. For a business owner on his scale, I'd imagine that the vast majority of his wealth would be tied up in busines

Doesn't that depend on what the website is trying to achieve? Clearly there are plenty of sites out there whose functionality is necessarily dependant on JS. As long as they make clear that this is the case and what the website is supposed

I think he asks permission when it suits him. Given his profile as an artist, I'd imagine he mostly wants to work on projects of the sort of scale that require permission from an organisation of some sort. I don't think he has an objection

I believe that non-profits on the whole are more likely to work to directly "do good" than for-profits. Whilst it might mean I end up "supporting" a cause that I personally would not subscribe to, as a broad definition it seems suitable to

I've started to see some best-practice-if-you-ignore-user-expectation guides out there which say that allowing the domain to ignore the www is Not A Good Idea. I don't really know why this is the case, though.
