Reminds me of the famous quote by Rasmus Lerdorf, creator of PHP > I’m not a real programmer. I throw together things until it works then I move on. The real programmers will say “Yeah it works but you’re leaking memory everywhere. Perha

Hmm, this is not the "Kibana" alternative I imagined. Kibana was supposed to be an easy UI. You go to Discover, and the data automatically shows in chronological order, I can explore it with different options. Kibana is very suita

I think the gpt-3 vs BERT story should be more interesting. I was told that OpenAI practically tried to "label every human knowledge" prior to ChatGPT, sort of similar to what Li Feifei was doing. At that time, no one seems to und

There are no forcasting for earthquakes, but they can be monitored and prevented to a minimum using a warning system, as electromagnetic signals travel faster seismic waves. Some few milleseconds would be enough. https://esg.tsm

The thing is it's sorted only after PinYin is invented, sorta proves the point. You can't easily compile an encoding out of it, but for alphabets it's intuitive to invent an index for each letter into dash-dots as morse code.
