Using this technology to secure non-private infrastructure, including corporate networks, makes total sense. And yes, it has some helpful properties to secure that infrastructure. But don't be mistaken, configuration mistakes still exi

Often it's not your choice, when e.g. all banking apps have this requirement, and banks require an app to allow you access to your account at all. Or when it's a health service because the data is so "sensitive". Today,

Flutter is different as it is 100% OSS so if Google cancels it, its development could theoretically be continued outside of Google. Of course, this depends on the presence of enough demand for that. Mozilla has laid off their full time Ru

For single projects, it's possible to build such caches and it's done by some, e.g. Firefox uses it. But for the "any project" use case, the combination of Rust's compilation model and how crates.io works makes this

You likely use "C with classes" C++, so C++03 for the most part, not the generics heavy C++ where you put everything into the header because it needs to be generic. This has massive advantages for compile time. Also "decent s

That's great if there is one developer working on each component of the software. The moment you have people trying to do cross-component changes, or developing someone else's component, they don't just have to learn how the

Getting into the process that does the message parsing is only the first step in a full exploit chain. Usually processes, even the unprivileged ones, have direct access to the kernel. So if there is a bug in there for example, you can explo
