The pricing changes to Maps were 2 years ago, that's hardly a pattern. Microsoft also ends support for products every year, often with replacements, but there's still migration costs: https://support.microsoft.com/

There's a big difference between a paid (Google) service and a free one. Google doesn't generally shutdown paid B2B services, but it certainly does have a record of instability on free consumer services (like this wifi thing).

Is there a bug in your example? You await freeze before calling whip. They can't run in any order or in parallel and must complete sequentially. pour also cannot complete before whip since whip is being awaited. That example is:

The ordering is specified left to right. totalSize += await getSize() becomes totalSize = totalSize + await getSize() So all the map callbacks run one by one, read totalSize as 0, and then suspend waiting for getSize(). Each o

fwiw if you read the rest of that thread on Twitter it explains that Youtube is not using Shadow DOM v0, the slowness is likely related to polyfills for HTML Imports, and the next version of Polymer no longer uses those to resolve issues

The TypeScript comment is wrong, the author needs to use a const enum: https://www.typescriptlang.org/docs/handbook/enums.html#cons... Then it generates code that's better than Flow. It's not as aggressi

The good news is all modern browsers use a Bloom Filter to quickly skip over elements that wouldn't match the descendant or child selector relationship. You could probably construct situations with very deep selector relationships and
