What about the people who got paid equity for the past few years of work and now might see all of their equity intentionally vaporized? They essentially got cheated into working for a much lower compensation than they were promised. I get t

So you think we should remove all concrete medians to allow cars to cross into opposing lane everywhere?

Imagine living somewhere so car dependent even the idea of crossing the street is foreign to you. Like living in a post apocalyptic wasteland where you can’t leave your bunker without a radiation suit.

It’s also a zero stakes sport that nobody watches and involves barely any money so there is less incentive to cheat.

You didn’t address my point. Do you think we should rip out all the concrete road medians so that you have the ability to cross into oncoming traffic in an emergency? Should we also eliminate all grade separated sidewalks and let pedestrian

It’s less safe than ever to be a pedestrian hit by a speeding car due to the proliferation of pointlessly large trucks and SUVs.

Do you think Germans get to drive at 100mph on city streets? They have speed limits too where necessary.

You realize the government already does not recognize your freedom to drive at 100mph right? They will ticket you or throw in prison if they catch you. A speed limiter doesn't further restrict your freedoms, it just increases enforceme

It should be illegal to drive above 25mph on any street that pedestrians regularly cross (i.e. all urban non-highway roads). Your enjoyment of speeding does not supersede other people’s right to not get struck by a car going 50mph.

GA involves spraying lead over and poisoning the (mostly low income) communities that live near airports. Probably the most evil hobby you could possibly take up in modern society.

There is also no single catch-all solution to carbon emissions. There are 10,000 solutions that each only fix 0.01% of the problem. If we refuse to pursue any of the solutions because they only contribute a little to solving the problem in

The 30 year mortgage already has future rate expectations priced in. You are not smarter than the bond market. If rates stay higher for longer home prices will stagnate or go down, you can’t predict which will happen.

The inverse does not hold true at all. Homeowners have locked in 3% mortgages that they would surrender if they sold but buyers would have to take out a 8% mortgage to buy the same house. It’s both a bad time to buy and a bad time to sell b
