I don't understand why they need this. They made a gorgeous and great device. It probably has one of the best smartphone cameras ever. Because of what they did, now everyone is talking about how they faked the photos instead of talking abou

I would still use Cyanogenmod with a Nexus. Besides, Cyanogenmod isn't lagging behind that much. It took a little too long from Gingerbread to ICS but we probably will have Stable Cyanogenmod 10 very soon.

Which is even worse, because no other company can use this term that people "associate with not noticing pixels". Even when their devices outdo iPhone in terms of PPI, they will never be able to market it as retina. If we really are going t

Your definition of retina is based on 2 assumptions: 1) Everyone has the same eyes. 2) Everyone holds their phone at the same distance. Both of these assumptions are incorrect. Therefore, a display that is retina to you, may not be retina t

What does retina mean? Can you explain to us? Do we really need a term for "high PPI"? If iPhone 4 is retina, then what is Xperia S? It is certainly not retina, because it would be insulting to call it retina when its pixels are even more i

All of them are solved by sandboxing and permission mechanism. "Fuck you, I don't want to waste my time" is actually the response developers should be giving to Apple when they are made to wait more than a month for their app to be reviewed

If you are big fan of open source, I would suggest you to consider diving into source and send a few patches. Because AOSP receives about 100 independent contributions every month and almost half of term are merged into the master tree.

Thank you. I didn't know Apple introduced its 30-pin connector even before the PDMI standard. But still my argument stands. Both Samsung and Asus are using 30-pin PDMI-based connectors for their 10 inch tablets. I find it pointless to do a
