Of those listed I've only played Hearthstone and Clash Royale. I reached top rank in Clash Royale, and I believe I only spent 5 dollars on it to get a neat looking board to play on - so I don't think they generate quite the ill-wi

How do you stack up this opinion (ban 'immoral' video games) with the idea that drug prohibition is widely considered a spectacular failure? Banning games like this will only drive the whales into black markets, which are more exp

I don't think its inevitable and I don't think it's a good long term monetization strategy. It's just short term planning with complete disregard for the long term health of the company. How the board of directors doesn&

I think the anti-systemd crowd hurts its arguments (which I tend to agree with at least in spirit) when they throw out stuff like accusing the authors of systemd of being "Ignorant of fundamental operating system concepts" ( https

Anxiety, hate, “disaster”... it’s a 50k luxury item. People who “hate” iPhones evoke the same response from me: being bored at your rich toys is gross. I also own a Tesla and it’s the best car I’ve ever driven. Was it worth the money? God

I run a startup that lets folks attach clusters and I’ll just say, for development or on windows/OSX, I highly recommend k3s and Rancher Desktop (which wraps k3s). Dramatically fewer issues and cpu usage compared to minikube. Minikube

Just a bit of feedback: micro service architecture isn’t universally hated (I love my Skaffold setup), and “popping the hood shouldn’t be easy” makes the devops engineer inside of me want to refuse to even read more about your product on pr

I always try to imagine a really reasonable reason for why people believe things like that. One that I can imagine is that humans are extremely biased towards seeing inefficiency. We seem to have a much easier time spotting problems than re

It's not surprising to me whatsoever that within that same sentence that as you said, "leads to authoritarianism", is a reference to absolute morality and sin. The scariest part of this line of thinking being so common is tha

Well, childish or patronizing - can it be both? I am a millennial, so perhaps it's childish. Anyways, if summarizing an extremely complex economic situation with a ~10 word meme is childish, I'm okay with that.
