I played Prologue after having played a lot of FM3, and being a long-time GT4 fan, and found it to be terrible. There was a demo out at one point released some 8 or 9 months after Prologue that was leaps and bounds ahead of it. I haven't ye

I've been looking for anything on the TSA site to confirm this statement and so far I've come up empty-handed. The only device I can say I've had success with is my Kindle 3, but I've known others having to re-run an older Kindle in the pas

I agree with most of those points, with an addition to #1: people are generally happy. On my most recent visit to Bangalore I went out of my way to go into the more run-down, impoverished areas of the city to see what life was like for peop

Also consider the cost of food in other countries. I lived healthily on about a US$2/day food budget when I spent six weeks in India (Bangalore). This isn't true for all places, of course, but I imagine it holds reasonably true.

I'm not speaking from personal experience on this, but if you think it's far-fetched that someone couldn't fit one, if not multiple entire sticks of dynamite up their ass, you should be glad to have lived a sheltered life.

I was speaking about the perspective of Dagny. I'm not sure of where it is you think poor people are demonized in the book.

It's not just about being 'smart/creative.' It's about being hardworking. The basis of your entire argument is deeply flawed. The book is about the looters that want something for nothing, to the extent that they will steal from the people

Coming from an iPhone 3G, I hate my Nexus One's screen (ATT/2.1): it's far, far too blue. DisplayMate tested the Nexus One's white as being 8870K. I find the display to be fatiguing and useless for viewing photos. I've noticed this proble

For me, I don't always know what the edge cases could be until I write them down. Writing tests allows me to get a clearer picture of what kind of coverage I have.

Getting it into a lower gear would mean the engine's current RPM is at a level low enough for the transmission to allow you to shift it into a lower gear. You can throw an automatic into "1" at 80mph and it won't comply.

I use rsync -avzP exclusively now over cp ever since I tried copying ~7000 files from a USB drive and found cp choked less than 10% through. rsync is wonderful.

I've been to LHR and I'm going to partially disagree with this. The people that work at ATL, ORD, LAX, LGA, and IAD are morons compared to the people that work security at LHR, or FRA for that matter. TSOs are very often lowest-rung idiots

I'm really unsure of where your attitude here is coming from. At ThoughtWorks we work with QAs constantly. It's a great relationship. There's no such thing as "QA's bugs".

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. Instead of people being forced to pair, they get to pair. It doesn't seem unreasonable to me that they'd hire people that want to work the way Hashrocket works.
