It's a good HTTPD Dummy. I've mostly used it in debugging purposes - a little as a swiss army knife. It's not that useless that you're portraying it as. But I do however agree that it's below toy level. It's not for production or long-tim

I'm just curious, why are you using Watt as a unit here? Is that like, half the TDP of your CPU or something?

I'd just like to chip in that, in Sweden, I've come across a lot of people who use the exact same saying to things that can be improved in general. I think this rhetoric is a lot more wide spread than just the United States of America.

Irregardless if it's an attack or not, CloudFlare's personell did not handle this well. Yes, I know they did offer one hell of a starter/"sweet lolipop to sucker you in" pack - but that's still not what's being discussed. It has been re-ite

Indeed, I guess I was a little too fuzzy in how I phrased myself in hind sight. Thanks - a good addition in itself. I guess the only really suitable way of explaining the situation is "It's complicated.". It's a colourful situation and in n

I think you're reading way more into this, than there is to it. Taiwan (Republic of China) is by the way, basically it's own country with it's own leadership and currency. I find it somewhat hard to put China (People's Republic of China) an

Sure, thought the parent comment is correct. I think the comment is fine, I couldn't read any tone coming from it. It's adding information - that these instructions works with other hardware.

Hm, I havn't used Amazons Web Services earlier - since most of their services looks to be priced in a good range, when suddenly you read the fine print about the bandwidth charges. I've been trying to read through about Amazon Elastic Trans

These are all great links to read if you'd like to dig deeper into search engine land. Thanks for the searchco.de articles, they were nice to read (Saw them in the previous searchco.de HN) :-)

Yes, that's certainly true. In my experience, the other vendors in this case are Big Widget Co/Big Widget Distributors Co's - like DigiKey, Farnell, Mouser. Most of what's on Sparkfun, is cheaper there - than in my local retail shops. Then

Well, they mostly sell individual pieces to individuals. Not to other businesses. They may be more expensive than ordering a million widgets from BigBulkCo - but they're certainly cheaper than going to a retail shop.

Indeed, I thought the same. It's in my opinion more costumized for the European market - they can handle credit cards - but they also have setups where they buy the invoice from the merchent and handle the payments and stuff like that. It

I don't read "the news" (meaning mainstream media, if you may) all that often, but when I do - I do like that they're "bad at filtering", or rather, their sheer broadness of topics. It reminds me that there is people with other views of lif

It's starting to get silly. That's why people are angry. I'll give you a personal example. If you do not have a Google+ account, but you have a Google account and GMail: You'll get annoying messages with "WHATS UP IN G+ DAWG" periodically a

It's unfortunate to not be able to power other things off of the Raspberry Pi's USB though. Like a WiFi USB dongle. But we knew we were in for the ride when we bought rPi's.

One possibility is that Facebook stops existing. Now, I won't speculate what the probability is or isn't - but none the less, it's a possiblity. On the other hand, there's also possiblities such as; Facebook losing or deleting the content,
