A quick google search ( http://bit.ly/RkNKpF ) shows that there are plenty of tablets under $99. I think sub $100 tablet by Google will be good for the market but not any huge game changer like the article makes it out to be.

1. Chrome is already on version 22. By the time IE10 comes out, Chrome and Firefox will be already several versions ahead. 2. I wouldn't call microsoft-news.com a reliable source for browser comparisons.

As all of the youtube comments point out, the drops are clearly biased towards the iPhone for example, the galaxy lands screen side down while the iPhone lands on its side.

I think the pledges should be adjusted. I understand that he's trying to raise for funding for this project but for $50 you should at least get a copy of the ebook.

I'm with you. I thought these were one of those "ironic" type awards similar to the Darwin awards or the razzies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_Awards https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Raspberry_Award

No worries my friend. I know it's often difficult to convey tone over the web so big up to you for apologizing. Honestly, it's standup people like you that keep me coming back to HN for news and good debate rather than some of the other sit

Unfortunately, the world is still in such a sad state that your above comment could absolutely be construed as your own personal beliefs which is why I asked if you were serious lest I overreact and turn what would be an otherwise lively d

Looking at the pictures, the only practical use for this would be a laptop. Charging via a desktop or a radio (which I have done many times) would make such a short cord impractical if not impossible as the cord would just fall out of the u

You bring up some very valid points. There will always be drivers on the road (assuming the government doesn't make it illegal) long after automated cars are fully integrated into society. Hell, I bet it will take at least 10-15 years befor

Also, what's the point of releasing password protected files to public? I mean, they give you the password thus kind of making the whole password thing a moot point.

I think the fact that the admins kept the site running (albeit slowly) while getting hit with an unprecedented amount of traffic is pretty darn impressive. On another note, I can't wait to see other politicians try an AMA. I have a feeling
