It's pretty awesome how many HTML5 resources have come out of the wood work. Yesterday, I decided to add Geolocation to my first mini web app and in just a little bit of surfing around I was able to learn enough to get it working. This on

I hope the onslaught of good e-book readers and tablets will have a huge effect on Goliaths of the textbook industry. The things they currently get away with are nuts. If the industry doesn't go in that direction on their own then schools

Envy Labs has really been a model citizen in the Ruby community. With the release of Zombie for Rails, the podcasts/videos/blogposts, and now the cheat sheets. Kudos to them. I hope to see more and more dev shops following in their footst

Good, maybe it'll bring some faster innovation to the automotive market. It would also have some implications for more developers or startups who would jump at building tools for finding things to do locally or maybe even vacation car pooli

Aww, I remember the outside. Seriously though, I'm grateful to my brother who's kept my nephews on a strict time limit and filter when it comes to TV and video games. They play outside and put their amazing imaginations to use.

Something like about.me for businesses would be great. Maybe a second editable page with REALLY easy to lists. That way businesses can easily list services or menu items.

I actually prefer hyphens when it comes to domains like Trip-Play.com or something where it's harder to distinguish where words end. Four-square.com probably would not have caught on quite as well though.

It was awesome to see indie games getting into the hands of people who they usually wouldn't appeal to. The best thing though was to see those like Notch and others give back to the community that gave so much to them.

I'd love to see Toyota embedding user accounts on the wireless key fobs and having the car customize itself to the user. Say if it's night time it should know I like the interior lights turned down to about half brightness. With the user

Mixed with the rumored gingerbread AR that'd be amazing in a vehicle. Can't wait to see what Google pulls off with Android.

I wonder if/when Android will make into automobiles. Could be good for Google. That's a lot of cool analytics and potential eyeballs.

This has the ability to be huge. Exchange points for gas discounts or off maintenance? Lots of other potentially game changing things could be added to the game mechanics of an automobile platform.

The brain is a tricky thing. Even seeing this video I'm sure that the "left moving ripple" progress bar still seems faster to us. Can something like the be applied to the loading animations in webapps? If the circle pulses or slows then sp

Which music companies are going to come in and buy up a big lot of stock? Is that possible? I'm not well versed in investment law, but seems like something they'd do if possible.

Any chance this will show up in the Android marketplace? Seems like it'd be pretty neat to see that kind of data.

What Do We Do? Make better games. That's what mobile game devs need to do. Angry Birds isn't up there because EA bought the publisher a couple weeks ago. It's up there because it's a fun and addictive game.

Is it scary to think that Heroku is aiming at Node.js? I'm not sure if I'd be scared or if it'd convince me I'm going in the right direction.

I don't know about the paycheck type scheme, but perhaps a growing grant for college based on your grades throughout your school career. Could be done using game dynamics and you earn points based on your work then at the end of high school

I'm totally going to have to check out your Sorbet next time I'm in California. I just recently started getting into Sorbet because I found out I'm lactose intolerant. Wish we had a great Sorbet place in San Antonio, Tx.
