I’m an early fan (Polymer, anyone?) but somehow the mindshare is just not there and trying to evangelize it to mainstream was too much. So now it just kinda there for people to slowly discover when they run into niche use cases.

Hey thanks. Yeah it is a bit too long because it comes from a data provider. I simply can't write a shortened summary for 30000 companies. But point taken. The similar companies is purely industry segmentation, which can never be 100%

I'm surprised but not surprised. Books get delivered 2-3 months later, if they ever get delivered at all. Need to contact support for replacement. End up preferring to pay the premium at local booksellers than buying from Book Depo. Ho

Google Cloud seems to be doing much better, at least recently. There's also Azure. AWS seems to have placed growth above everything else at customers' expense.

It's early days but so far I've quite enjoyed my experience with Buffalo (Golang) framework [1], which mostly copies from Rails. Get Go performance and static typing. Definitely some rough patches, but overall still quite an enjo

GCP has had Preemptible VMs, which WILL terminate after 24 hours if it lasted that long. Spot VMs removes this 24h limit.

Websockets on Cloud Run is $$$, from what I saw, so be careful. Basically it keeps the instance on.
