True, but this whole HTML5 vs. Flash war going on seems to me more like JS+HTML5 vs Flash.

Does anyone else find the title of "HTML5" game to be misleading or confusing? Back when HTML5 was first starting to gain a bit of traction, I didn't understand how games were possible until I realized it was just HTML5 basically allowing J

I used Firefox for the same reason, the awesome-bar takes me places so much faster than in Chrome. But Firefox feels so clunky and slow that I had to make the switch to Chrome a few weeks ago. Everything is snappier, no lag.

If you're looking for intros to programming, 1.00 is also a fantastic course (it's what made me switch to a CS major) which uses Java. The materials are a bit older than for 6.00 though.

Nice site in general! Pretty good design and keeps things real simple. One thing I'd add is a back button to go back after you open a recipe. Right now I'm clicking the search button to go back which is unintuitive.

Why do people create sites like these (from a financial perspective)? Do they have anything to gain? I assume they have to pay a lot in terms of space. Is there something I'm missing?

Agreed again. I always go back to w3schools as a quick hit reference for little things I may forget.

I agree completely. I'm a CS student at MIT and I've used OCW here and there to supplement courses or to fill in when I've missed a lecture, etc. It definitely helps and it's nice to have all those resources. I think it's a great service. B
