This is the reason why I'm never get excited about recursion. I hardly ever find a real world application for it aside from a tree transversal. Most examples are toys (fib, towers of hanoi, maze solving) or problems that are already solved

all I'm asking for with Javascript is a shorter function keyword. Let me have dosomethingasync(f() { }); With a language so dependent on callbacks, anonymous function are so verbose.

I'm sure I'll get flack for this but isn't a session cookie passed with every request essentially the same as passing an Auth header with every request? In either case HTTP is still stateless.

If I remember correctly, Varnish by default will use the standard HTTP headers to cache the content. This is my preferred way "configuring" Varnish. I like letting the app decide how to cache it's content rather than putting a bunch of sp

In fact it's much more transparent. With a compiled binary you don't see the steps involved, with a bash script you can step line by line and see exactly what the script is doing. Those that don't care won't look at the script any more tha

GoDaddy is one skanky company. Buying a domain is a chore. You have to walk through a minefield of up sells. The ads are gross. All that hassle is just not worth the couple dollars I save every year.
