> outsiders will end up paying into the system By definition, outsiders don't have to pay into the system since they already have a gov't somewhere else that is dedicated to them, just like the Viennese do.

Do you have a link to any of the JVM clones? Perplexity and Google came up empty.

Parents can give their kids alcohol and cigarettes, that's fully legal. Driving involves danger to other. We restrict adults from doing things that are a danger to others, it has nothing to do with being "vulnerable."

"Citizens should be free to make their own choices for themselves and their children, especially benign ones about how to socialize and who to socialize with." It's interesting how few governments believe this. Your rulers kn

I eliminated the ability to run multiple home servers and forced clients to submit to the server so that every update was a git-style fast forward, eliminating the ability to have merges. (This means that messages could "fail", re

If Matrix now supports MLS, you should ask the site owner to update this: https://arewemlsyet.com/ Based on my inspection of the Rust crate [0] as of today, it does not. YMMV. Separately, as you well know, Matrix has its ow

Terrible analogy. MLS is an IETF standard. The server is easy to write, and easy to make scalable (no complicated merge algorithm required, unlike Matrix). Finally, individual chatrooms scale to an order of magnitude larger size vs. Matrix.

I've had AI write ~100% of my code for the last 7 months, but I acted as the "agent" so the AI had very high levels of direction, and I approved all code changes at every step, including during debugging. Mostly Gemini Pro 2.

The reverse is also true: secure code is difficult to write, and LLMs at scale will make it much easier to develop secure code.

The WIDGET model of "working geniuses" is one possible answer, it does explain a lot of team dynamics in my experience. Since no one has all six working geniuses, and you're only a genius at two, it takes a collection of peop

Here you go: https://research.nvidia.com/labs/lpr/ToolOrchestra/ Big models (like Claude Opus 4.5) can (and do) just RL-train this into the main model.
