Super impressive. I wouldn't count this as being turing complete. You could say that the SNES itself is turing complete. He successfully got a turing complete machine to run arbitrary code. It was the SNES itself running this code

Hi, good talk. I was wondering if you could elaborate more on your JSON RPC mechanism and the use of threads vs. processes. Coming from the Python world I could see it very hard or impossible to use one plugin written in Python2 and anoth

Good thing I saw this. I was thinking about installing Ubuntu or Mint on my X1 Yoga during the holidays. I'll hold off now or do some more research.

Can someone explain this to me? Where did this BTC come from? There was a single deposit on 12/8 of like 5k BTC. Since then there have been withdrawls from that address. https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/addres

I'm not sure how useful this is by itself. It's cool that it's there for convenience, but I think I'd rather stick to either Git on Windows or Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)

Is it good for reading technical books which may have diagrams and source code excerpts?

Somewhat on topic I'd like to ask what a good device is to read these books on? I'd like to grab a couple books to read over the holidays. For example someone else mentioned this book. https://www.manning.com/books

I'm not sure about the current state of PySide, but PySide is LGPL. Might want to look there too.

Sounds like a design flaw... adding a centralized database to augment a decentralized version control system. Comments, issues, pull requests, wiki, etc... should all be first class Git objects. I should be able to create pull requests whi

Ubuntu wanted to do this but it never went anywhere... and they didn't open source their code. What an absolute shame. I really loved the idea of it. You had the whole Android / Java / Bionic runtime sharing the same kernel

Sensationalist title. This affects every implementation of WPA2. It's just hat Android was "exceptionally devestating" in that you could use an all-zero key. This just makes it easier.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... It makes zero sense to centralize something that was meant to be decentralized. We need issues, pull requests, comments, milestones, wiki, etc... all to be decentralized. No reason this

For trivial programs sure... not when dealing with encoders, decoders, binary formats, etc, etc. It all depends on how they wrote their Python 2.7 code. You can write it oblivious to Python 3 and screw things up, or you can write it in a w

Question for spooneybarger or anyone else at Walaroo Labs. How do you see this comparing to something like Dask? Would it compete with Dask, or be able to somehow work together with it? Dask seems to let you write idiomatic Python code and
