This is an interesting question. I would expect that to some degree, yes it could cycle through locations of interest to sample multiple spots. Pros do this quite often, so not only would I consider this legal but perhaps necessary for dece

From TFA: > Q. How does AlphaStar perceive the game? > A. Like human players, AlphaStar perceives the game using a camera-like view. This means that AlphaStar doesn’t receive information about its opponent unless it is within the came

If I'm not mistaken, the blink micro was unrealistic because that version of Alphastar played a modified version of the game. It's "screen" covered the whole map and it had no need for a minimap. Human players can do so

The earlier version of AlphaStar viewed the map as one giant screen. That gave it an advantage with flanking blink micro that human players couldn't reasonably do. This was with an average pro APM restriction.

Yes, that's the main sell of GraphQL I believe, the "graph" of the name. Your clients could theoretically make one API request for all their data needs by specifying the relationships the care about. E.g. I want all of my pos

If you need to query for a nested relationship, that's multiple REST requests, such as "all posts by a user" and "replies to a given post". You could write up a single REST endpoint to support that, but now you'

I gave the article a read. I don't feel like the author made a case for "democratization in China is inevitable". It was indeed an example of the Tsinghua democracy discussions you mentioned. Democracy isn't the only for

I agree with you, but I can't help but think of the case of the Wu Tang album they sold to Martin Shkreli. Part of the terms of sale was that it couldn't be copied. I do believe a company shouldn't be able to hold a piece of

Why is democracy inevitable? It seems to me like power concentrating into the hands of a small minority is inevitable everywhere. I'd really like to believe otherwise, but I'm hard pressed to see long lasting examples where money

For StarCraft 2, I think they're also doing a good job keeping it alive and relevant with the WCS brand. The collective prize pool for all tournaments is several million dollars. You're right that this is likely a drop in the buck
