Cant say its "additional" but Polymer + it's material design components work great on both desktop and mobile.

Whats wrong with vulcanizing? The product is the same you would get with grunt/gulp and what people were doing for years building their js files. Is bower less reliable than npm? (I do more python work than JS)

But how can you be sure the problem is not in specific element implementation? DBMonster tests show that performance in rendering is ok. FWIW - I develop on firefox with shady DOM and then test in full shadow DOM in chromium - performance w

Have you actually benchmarked polymer in a non-chrome browser? It is much faster than Angular - somewhere around React performance. Polymer is picked up by big companies already whereas "no one"(big) is using angular 2.x for now.

Ofcourse, tons of "enterprises", ING, Comcast, Salesforce, IBM, General Electric, Electronic Arts, (Slack?) and Google (obviously). There are also tons of components to pick from, someone is obviously building them. We are rewriti

It is interesting how people are debating here, angular this, react that... Yet there is Polymer that just works, has a great ecosystem, awesome material design support and is a breeze to work with (+ its fast too). Right now there was 2.0

All browsers lower than IE11 are NOT supported by microsoft and are a security risk. People should not support them, a lot of websites like youtube and others will not really function correctly in them.

Yup, lots of people, we are creating some new components for RhodeCode using Polymer right now. Whole team is very pleased in how nice it is to work with it. Companies like EA, IBM, General Electric or Salesforce use it in production. Works

I'm still puzzled people choose react over W3C HTML standards like web components. It just doesn't make sense unless you want to support IE9/10.

Postgresql 9.4/9.5 offers nice support for JSON type data structures, if someone wants to iterate fast - maybe they should start with that as a baseline.

It is quite scary for me to read that people have serious issues upgrading their frameworks, wouldn't it be better to use pyramid (or flask eventually) instead? It is very mature and well supported - and the upgrades are usually painle
