I feel it's the same fallacy as saying to a child "eat because others elsewhere starves". Also Don Ho (NPP's author) is from China. (Studied and lived most of his life in France though, so in my books he's French)

I am not saying your story is fake dvirsky if that's you get from my posts. It's just has all the hallmarks of something I trained people around me to notice.

Oh yes I agree, that's why phishing exists in the first place. Because people do it, so someone can take advantage of those people's (bad) habits.

Is that inches or feet? With my bose qc35 I can walk 5 to 10 meters away from my phone/computer. (10 if clear view, 5 if wall) 1.5 meters seems very little and 18 meters seems too much.

Maybe you could rip open the base (it seems it's only plastic), do a little work and get back the power/hdmi/usb c converter inside it.

About the USB C, can you use a standard C to HDMI converter, or do you have to use the base ?

What about having two (or several) sets of devices, each sets having "a life", software installed and used etc? A laptop and smartphone for travel and another set for home.

In the same kind of issue (IMO): voting on weekdays. I don't know if that's in the US constitution (I'm French), but really, who thought that was a good idea. It seems like a systemic issue easier to address than the whole co

I was hesitating to visit the US landmarks for years now under Obama's administration -and even before that under Bush's- but under Trump's, his attitude and words only indicates that it would get worse... I don't want t

Makes me think of the Roman's tradition of building wood theatres, but now instead of wood and clearly saying "temporary" it's cement promising "stability and prosperity".

This is becoming a tad complicated and with a lots of steps involved for just bombing things isn't it? I mean Tony Stark could it in a cave, but could Joe Terrorist do it? ps: I shouldn't talk about the costs effectiveness of terr

Slack doesn't advertise as a chat for thousands of users, but teams of 5 to 50, worse case 100 people. It's "lucky" they didn't hard code a limit.

No history by default, in fact there's only text by default. I like IRC, but newer generations are used to having "full-featured" chats without setup (beauty is in the eye of the beholder). I also like being able to do some s

Also in Europe we usually talk about VAT included prices, while in the US they talk about VAT excluded prices. I don't know if that's the case here. The only Apple products I have are a 1991 PowerBook and a Macintosh II (first mod
