According to Caesar he made 430000 casualties, while historians now estimate it were about 160000. Among these were women an children. On the Roman side there were zero casualties so it was more a genocide than a battle.

This study relies on the NHANES data which is self-reported: Respondents have to recall what they ate. So an alternative and more likely explanation is that people are far better at deluding themselves than they used to be.

Yes. With Psyco it was possible to use the entire Python ecosystem, in my case PyQt and the science libraries. There was just something magical about Psyco, just adding two lines to your script and seeing it run 100x faster. It was really g

I totally long for Psyco too. PyPy turned out to be not really a replacement for it.
